Looking for Reflx Lab 400D sample photos? These frames were shot on 35mm — Reflx Lab’s ISO 400 daylight color-negative film — with a Canon QL17 (Canonet QL17), an Olympus OM-1N, and an Olympus XA. This stock is now discontinued and no longer sold at Art by Pino.
The Canon QL17 roll walks from the Spanish Colonial Revival doorway at McAllen Heritage Center (the historic McAllen Post Office / La Placita) to La Lomita Chapel in Mission, Texas, then the neon marquee at Cinemark Hollywood USA in McAllen. Reflx Lab 400D is processed in Kodak C-41.
A second 35mm roll was shot on the Olympus OM-1N at 200 ISO — pulled one stop from the box speed of 400 — and developed in Kodak C-41. Those frames include an outdoor antique yard with a yellow fence and carousel horses, a covered antique porch with a red OPEN sign, the Chapel of the Lord’s Prayer (ECHAP) on the UTRGV Edinburg campus, a Texas mural wall with a Lone Star beer can and picnic table, and the mosaic-tiled dome with yellow circular mosaic pavement on the UTRGV Edinburg campus.
A third 35mm roll was shot on the Olympus XA in the historic center of Santiago de Querétaro — Templo de San Francisco de Asís and Jardín Zenea, Palacio de la Corregidora on Plaza de la Independencia, and the hanging-umbrella stretch of Andador Madero. Because of a difference in how the lab developed this roll, these Olympus XA frames look remarkably different from the other Reflx Lab 400D photos on this page (Canon QL17 and Olympus OM-1N). That is a lab-processing difference — not the camera.

Reflx Lab 400D 35mm is a discontinued ISO 400 daylight color negative — we used to carry it, but it is no longer for sale. The Canon QL17 frames, the Olympus OM-1N roll (shot at 200 ISO, pulled one stop), and the Olympus XA Querétaro roll were all developed in Kodak C-41. The XA frames look remarkably different because of a difference in how the lab processed that roll.
