Reflx Lab 320D AHU is Kodak Vision3 250D 5207 AHU — Kodak’s new remjet-free version of its daylight-balanced Vision3 250D color negative motion picture film — respooled for still cameras in 35mm. Kodak kept the 5207/7207 stock number and added AHU (anti-halation undercoat): the anti-halation layer sits under the emulsion instead of a black remjet backing, so there is nothing to strip off. Reflx Lab rates it at ISO 320 in standard C-41 (hence the 320D name) or ISO 250 in ECN-2, so any C-41 lab can develop it.
The historic engines and the red bell were photographed at the McAllen Pumphouse and Firemen’s Park complex on 1st Street in McAllen, Texas — home of the city’s 1920s water purification plant and pump station, now part of Town Lake at Firemen’s Park.
