Looking for CineStill BwXX sample photos? The first frames were shot on CineStill BwXX 35mm — CineStill’s stills-packaged Kodak Double-X (Eastman 5222) black and white cinema film — on a Leica M3. This newer 120 roll was shot at 200 ISO (box 250) on a Zeiss Super Ikonta 531, 6×4.5.

BwXX is a classic panchromatic B&W stock, around EI 250 in daylight (about 200 under tungsten). It has the punchy midtones and grain of a cinema emulsion, and it develops in standard black-and-white chemistry.
