About the Centro de las Artes de San Luis Potosí Centenario: the next five frames were taken at this arts centre, housed in the city’s former state penitentiary — a panopticon-plan prison that held inmates until 1999 and reopened as the Centro de las Artes in 2008. The bird-boat sculpture is Leonora Carrington’s La barca de las grullas, in the central courtyard of the Museo Leonora Carrington, which opened inside the complex in 2018.
