Looking for Ilford XP2 Super sample photos? These square 6×6 frames were shot on Ilford XP2 Super 120 with a Yashica Mat 124 TLR. XP2 Super is a chromogenic black-and-white film — it looks like black and white, but it is processed in Kodak C-41 color-negative chemistry, not standard black-and-white chemistry.
Rated at ISO 400, XP2 Super uses dye instead of silver for its grain, with wide exposure latitude and the convenience of running the roll through the same C-41 line as color film. These McAllen street frames — Mosaic, Atrium Place Apartments, and Stonewood — show the smooth midtones that come from that chromogenic process.

Ilford XP2 Super is C-41 chromogenic B&W, not a conventional black-and-white emulsion — these Yashica Mat 124 frames are square 6×6 on 120. The shop currently has 35mm XP2 Super in stock (the 120 roll is not listed).
